Privacy Policy – IPNVPN: Fast Private VPN

This Privacy Policy explains how IPNVPN ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use the IPNVPN – Fast Private VPN mobile application (the "App") and related services. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.

1. Who We Are

IPNVPN is a VPN application developed and operated by the IPNVPN team. If you have questions about this policy or our data practices, contact us at:

  • Email: [email protected]
  • Website: https://ipnvpn.app

2. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum amount of information necessary to operate the App, provide customer support, process subscriptions, and maintain service quality.

2.1 Device & Technical Information

  • Device identifier (a randomly generated, non-resettable app-level ID, and where applicable your advertising identifier)
  • Device name, model, operating system and version
  • App version
  • First launch date and general usage timestamps

2.2 VPN Connection Metadata

To operate and troubleshoot the VPN service, we collect connection metadata, including:

  • Connection status (connecting, connected, disconnected)
  • Selected server / server region
  • Connection start and end time, and session duration
  • Aggregate network performance data (e.g., download speed, latency)

We do not log, monitor, inspect, or store the content of your internet traffic, the websites or services you visit, your DNS queries, or your browsing history. The metadata above is used solely to maintain service reliability, diagnose connectivity issues, and calculate aggregate usage statistics — never to identify or reconstruct your online activity.

2.3 Account & Subscription Information

When you purchase or restore a subscription through Adapty and the Apple App Store / Google Play billing systems, we (and our subscription-management provider, Adapty) receive:

  • Product/plan identifier and price
  • Purchase, renewal, and restore status and timestamps
  • Subscription/premium status

We do not collect or store your payment card, bank, or Apple/Google account credentials. All payment processing is handled directly by Apple App Store or Google Play, and their respective privacy policies apply to that processing.

2.4 Contact & Support Information

If you contact us through the in-app "Contact Us" form or by email, we collect the email address, subject, and message content you voluntarily provide, along with basic device information, so that we can respond to your inquiry, feedback, or bug report.

2.5 Diagnostic & Usage Data

We may collect error logs and aggregated usage statistics (e.g., feature usage, crash reports) to improve app stability and performance.

2.6 Advertising Data

The App displays advertisements served through Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads). AdMob and its partners may collect and use identifiers (such as your advertising identifier, subject to your permission — see Section 4) and other technical data to serve and measure ads. See Section 5 for more on third-party ad partners.

2.7 Terms Acceptance

We record whether and when you accepted our Terms of Service, so we can confirm compliance with app store and legal requirements.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide, maintain, and operate the VPN connection and related features
  • Process, verify, and manage subscriptions and purchases
  • Respond to support requests, feedback, and bug reports
  • Diagnose technical issues and improve app performance and stability
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues
  • Serve and measure advertising (where permitted)
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell your personal information.

4. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS 14 and later, the App requests your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before accessing your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) for ad personalization and measurement purposes. You can grant or deny this permission when prompted, and you may change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they may be less relevant to you.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party providers to operate the App. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy:

  • Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads) — Displaying and measuring in-app advertisements. Data involved: advertising identifier, device/technical data.
  • Adapty — Subscription management, paywall delivery, purchase/restore processing. Data involved: purchase, product, and device identifiers.
  • Apple App Store / Google Play — Payment processing and billing. Data involved: payment and account data (handled entirely by Apple/Google).
  • MongoDB Atlas (database hosting) — Secure storage of the operational data described in Section 2. Data involved: device ID, session metadata, contact and subscription records.

We do not permit these providers to use data we share with them for purposes unrelated to providing their service to us, except as required for their own legitimate business operations (e.g., ad measurement) and as disclosed in their respective privacy policies.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share or disclose your personal information to third parties except:

  • With the service providers listed in Section 5, to the extent necessary for them to perform their functions
  • To comply with a legal obligation, court order, or governmental request
  • To protect and defend our rights or property, or the safety of our users
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality obligations

7. Data Retention

We retain the information described in Section 2 only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, including maintaining your subscription status, providing support, and complying with legal obligations. Connection metadata and usage statistics are retained in a form that does not enable us to reconstruct your browsing activity, and are periodically purged or aggregated. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 9).

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encrypted VPN tunnels and access-controlled databases. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal information
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent (e.g., revoke ATT tracking permission or ad personalization)
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (EEA/UK users)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA). If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA); we do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
